My Approach

I’ve been told that I have an exceptional ability to “make meaning” for individuals, teams and organizations.

My toolbox includes facilitation skills honed at the Center for Creative Leadership; analytical skills from both my MBA and my consulting experience with foundations, membership organizations, and universities; and my more than 20 years of experience as a global nonprofit executive with tough choices to make about resources and inequities.  I am a quick study who connects well with diverse stakeholders. People find my insights and approach relevant and useful. And I’ll make the process fun as we work together to be creative and inclusive.

Strategic Planning

I love strategic planning because it is derived from people’s commitment to doing good in the world. Done well it is not something that sits on a shelf, but is the very real, intentional choices people make to act on shared beliefs. Finding the sweet spot between lofty ideas and the practical realities of implementation is my goal each and every time I work with an organization. It’s your work, I just help you get there.

Leadership Development and Coaching

Setting strategy is the map. Getting there takes building skills and daily practice. I support leaders and teams through phone and in-person coaching, assessments, and developmental planning. Together we will work on a customized approach to meeting your own and your organization’s expectations.

Facilitation and Speaking

Sometimes it is important for the whole group to learn together. I design and deliver customized experiences — virtual and in-person — that align teams and organizations. Whether we are team building, skill building or better understanding what it takes to achieve the mission, I’ll make the experience fun and relevant.
